I owned a Cuisinart food processor for years and needed one with a larger capacity. I bought this based on America's Test Kitchen recommendation and found that it lived up to all of the hype. The difference between this unit and my old one is like the difference between a Volkswagen Beetle and a Porsche. It's quiet, powerful and incredibly good looking. Got this for my wife and she has been thrilled with it.
Saves time, cleans easily, runs quietly, and most important, it saves the pain she experiences when having to chop things by hand.
The small bowl and blade which sits inside the larger bowl, is great for quick work and small amounts.
