I love the way this blade touches every part of the bowl. It cuts down on having to stop and scrape the bowl. My only drawback is the splatter it creates when you add ingredients. Overall I would recommend this blade for anyone who has a Kitchenaid.

The mixer blade met the description as given. Did a good job scaping the bowl while mixing. The blade is a light plastic, not metal as the original blade. At first I was hesitant to use with a thicker batter as it "felt flimsy", but there was not an issue even when the batter was almost completed.
The blade definitely simplify's my recipes and reduces stops and starts to scrape the bowl. I would recommend it. Hoping for long term use!

Got this for my daughter who is a cake baker. She loves it. Scrapes batter/icing from sides thereby eliminating having to do that by hand. Mixes better therefore.

This is the greatest thing since the electric stand mixer, it completely incorporates butter and cream cheese without stopping the machine leaving you hands-free to assemble other ingredients. I have bought one for my daughter and told the universe about this product. I have now purchased one for a six and five quart mixer with the same results. My Kitchen Aid is now my best friend.

This blade is the greatest! It saves lots of time, since you do not have to stop and scrape the bowl. You do need to make sure you have the splash guard on when you use this blade and SLOWLY add ingredients, but it does a great job. I wish I had my new blade when I did all my Christmas baking, it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration trying to scrape the bowl. I did not have to adjust the blade at all but I would caution others to first try the blade with No ingredients to see if you will need to adjust the blade without having to deal with a sloppy mess, too. The adjustment directions seem to be pretty easy to follow, but I did not have to use them as my blade lined up perfectly the first time.
