I am very impressed with this toaster, just like all of the other reviewers. I love the crispy outside, creamy inside consistency of the toasted bread and it looks super sharp on the kitchen counter alongside my KitchenAid stand mixer. My only disappointment is that the long slices of sourdough that fit into our now defunct old toaster stick out the top of the openings and have to be flipped over and toasted twice. I thought that the toasting slots would be deeper based on the photo. At any rate we're keeping it, and we're enjoying using it on a daily basis. Yay carbs!

I bought this product for my parents for Christmas. I was a little concerned about some of the other model kitchen aid toaster reviews. This unit did make a little bit of a funny smell the first couple of times used but after that then does not put off any funny smell. My parents love this toaster and even made perfectly toasted hamburger buns in it as well as the usual toast. I would highly reccomemd this to anybody. I love kitchen aid products!

Well, it is just a toaster, but I didn't think I would be as impressed as I was with this item when my wife brought it home.
We had a toaster and toaster oven. Both top shelf items!
This is a TERRIFIC toaster. I love the warm button and especially the Bagel button. Wow, very cool indeed!
I like the perfect consistency.
By the way, warm button = no toasting, just maintain warmth.
Bagel button = toast the cut side of my bagel and not the entire thing.
Terrific product and really, after having another high-end toaster (still have, but no longer use), I would say that I remain impressed with this -- a toaster.

I've had trouble with all toasters in the past. Never had I found one that worked without a cooling period between slices. My grandaughters came over for a visit and gave the toaster a workout. The toast was the same ever time, slice after slice, without any cooling period. Thank you for a product that actually works.
