Holy Cow! I just bought this a month ago and it's broken already. I love that it's quiet and powerful and easy on the eyes. However, the 6th or 7th time I used it to make cake batter (not heavy bread dough) the head on the beater sheared completely off! That was an unwelcome surprise. Hopefully, KitchenAid's customer service won't be a total nightmare. Will post a follow up for potential customers.
